Covenants and Home Construction

The community is subject to formal recorded deed and title restrictions which establish rules for activities and conduct within the community, and establish the Segnette Estates Community Association to administer such rules for the benefit of the residents and lot owners. They also provide for, and there is already in place, the Segnette Estates New Construction Committee which has crafted a comprehensive set of design and construction guidelines and procedures which set the standards for home construction.

With the purchase of a lot or home, you will become a member of the Segnette Estates Community Association which governs and is the "watchdog" for the community in order to protect, preserve and enhance the quality and attractiveness of the development, and the value of your investment. The lot owners and residents may and are encouraged to participate in community issues and functions.

The Community and Nearby Attractions

Location, Location, Location. Segnette Estates offers a great location that puts our homeowners in close proximity to some of the New Orleans’ area’s most appealing attractions.

Start with Bayou Segnette State Park. Located in close proximity to Segnette Estates, the park is just minutes away and offers boating, fishing, camping, a wave pool, and more. The Alario Center, the Westbank’s community and sports complex located within the park, hosts various national, regional and local events and offers recreational amenities, including a baseball diamond and fields for sporting and other events.

Perhaps the finest golf course in Louisiana, the PGA Tour’s Tournament Players Club of Louisiana, is just down the road. Don’t worry about membership fees – the TPC is a public course, with special discounts for Louisiana residents and a clubhouse that offers up great dining every day.
